Script: You are to create a block style letter that is used in various companies and correspondence. Using the correct specifications in writing a block style letter for your future use.

A block style letter font style should be set at Times New Roman or Courier new with the font size of 12 only. The TOP MARGIN of the letter should be set at 2”.  The letter should have a return address (who is sending the letter) address and date, Recipients (who is receiving the letter) address, salutation, Body of the letter, closing and signature.  The letter should be single-spaced (SS) with various double-Spaced (DS) between the paragraphs.

Make sure you turn on your “Show/Hide” to view Formatting marks. If you extend beyond one page, your fonts are too big! The material provided for you is written in larger fonts for your view and the boxes are provided for instruction.

Ø Changing Top Margins

Ø Inserting Tables

Ø Merging cells in Tables

Ø Underline (Hold the LEFT-SHIFT KEY and press the underline (next to the + and = key) and hold down until you want a certain distance
